Maybe I am just out of the loop. Did Vaughan have a recruitment lately or are these guys still getting called from the last pool ?

I know that I missed Mississauga's recruitement. God I hope I didn't miss this one too.

The class starting in April were the leftovers  from the last pool.
2 classes of 8 were cancelled in 2004 because of numerous reasons , so they were given this opportunity. Any further hires will come from a new recruitment .

I was told to wear navy blue pants and golf shirt. Also to bring pen pencil, paper to write on, and a ready to work attitude. Which Im sure were all prepared to do.

Good luck to all

Funguy, who told you to wear what you had mentioned. I just got off the phone with a friend of mine in prevention and he said to wear business attire; shirt, tie, dress pants......

This was a friend of mine who is a FF with VFRS. Now he is not 100% sure, but unless things have changed thats what he said he wore. So maybe we should investigate a little futher.

Your first day will be alot of paperwork, so wear something comfortable yet still be able to work in( no jeans or shirts with holes). They will tell you what to wear until station arrives.
Oh ya.....be prepared to do pushups.
Just starting 14 days off....
