You don't need any help, just apply. Working as an oilfield fire fighter chasing fracs around Alberta is not some super exclusive club, just send your resume out and wait for the calls to come in. They are desperate for people right now, things are booming. Do you have your class 3 yet?

Get your class 3. If you are serious about getting a job, you will be starting the process of getting your class 3 RIGHT NOW.
Just apply to all of them, you will find a job, the oil patch is BOOMING right now! I am sure that most (if not all) of the fire safety companies are hiring right now.
P.S. In your resume, please consider using periods.

If you're serious about this make getting your class 3 as easy as you can. The 3 can be very expensive to take... where the class 2 is much cheaper and is actually a class 3-4 combination. The 3 does allow you to drive bigger, heavier rigs with tandem axles etc... but does not allow you to drive an ambulance or ECV- basically a field ambulance that doesn't fall under the pertinant highway standards.
A class 2 can be done in a day... you drive a school bus around for a few hours with an instructor and then get your test done that afternoon. A class 3 is quite a bit more involved and still doesn't license you to drive a vehicle that you may be exposed to in these safety / oilfield companies that operate with medical aid staff.
On the field side, the guys would probably rather have someone come out who knows how to drive the bigger trucks with the more complex transmissions but regardless- you're licensed to drive them... learning them will be your own issue.
