I am looking in to taking the 1 year Ontario Paramedic Program. I notice there are a few schools that offer it. I am just wondering which school people recommend. Any advice would be very helpful

the only one i know of is CTS (i believe its CTS) there may be another one but im not sure so dont quote me that this is the only one. its in like north bay/barrie its a full 12 months. i have a friend there now who is loving it but its ultimately your decision. dont just chose it because its one year if it doesnt feel right to you. yes 1 year is appealing but if the school and you dont mesh dont bother being unhappy because it will affect the way you perform in classes etc. The program im in is 16 months straight so a little longer (same amount of time as ontario colleges but we dont have a summer break we have school straight through) but we graduate december 2012 as opposed to april 2013. those are the private colleges. you pay a little more (3-4 grand) but your done a lot earlier than placed like humber and cenntennial and the class sizes and like 1/4 of the size. look around though i know ppl who went to CTS and loved it. but i also know people who didnt like the schools in the private sector and wanted to go with an ontario college. on the same side i know people who didnt like the ontario colleges. so honeslty look around your gonna be in this place for a solid year if not more your gonna want to like where your at. if you want any more info u can private msg me i can tell you about my school. i hope that helps
