ST. JOHN'S, Nfld. (CP) - CHC Helicopter Corp. has won a five-year contract worth $15.2 million to provide helicopter flights for the Western Australia Government Fire and Emergency Services Authority. Under terms of a contract that could be extended for five more years, CHC said Thursday it will provide pilots and crewmen for a 24-hour emergency rescue service. The service has started temporarily with a Bell 412 helicopter from the CHC fleet while a new Bell 412 EP has been purchased and is being readied at CHC Australia's Adelaide site.
