Anyone have any suggestions for sites that may have fire department Avatars. Been surfing the net, but can't find anything specifically related to fire departments. Thanks everyone. :)

You may have to re-size most of them though. You can only have your largest size be 100 pixcels. If you have a problem re-sizing...pm me and I will help you out.

Look in the firehall.com fourm in the top section of fourms there is a bunch of links in the avatar area. Happy hunting

Just wondering why all my pic's I try to use as an avatar or profile pic say that it is too large ( like I hav'nt heard that before :cool: ). all I can use it seems is this wonderful picture of my mother in law :eek: ---------help.

I'd imagine that it is because the image is too large:D. This usually means that the file size is too big (I think it has about a 2MB cap, if you are trying to use images from a good quality digital camera then the images are probably larger than this), so you will have to resample the image using a graphics program. If you are unsure on how to do this just email it to false_alarm or myself and we can downsample it for you.

All right guys & you know who you are. How do you get the big avatars to fit, every time I down load a new one it's to big. HELP let us in on your secret.:confused:

use photoshop or some program and drop it to around 100x100 pixels

Just start by searching avatars in google or yahoo. You can also search animated avatars. Down load them a folder, and then go to User cp at the top of this screen. You'll find it in there. The only thing is it can only be a max of 100 x 100 pixels.
