BELLEVILLE, ON - Teams of local men and women will be pulling fire trucks this spring in a new fund raiser for the Lung Association. The Lung Association has teamed up with the Belleville Fire Department and Quinte Mall to host a tug-of-war competition on May 28. All male teams of ten or mixed teams of 12 people will compete against each other and the clock in this exciting event.
This is a pledge-based event with generous merchandise incentives for 20 teams. It is expected to raise about $20,000 in gross profit. Area businesses, organizations and individuals are encouraged to support the event by registering a team, becoming a sponsor, or making a donation.
