Hello to all out there!
Does anybody have any idea when Toronto,Hamilton or Windsor will be recruiting in the near future? Or any idea about Regina? Any info would be helpful

Best bet is to phone HR every few weeks...I bugged Vancouver till they were sick of me.....and they still are, when I called they already knew my name...:rolleyes:.......BC...

Not sure about Windsor, but I think Toronto and Hamilton are supposed to be this spring or summer at the latest.

Windsor recently had a recruitment in Jan or Feb. I am not sure about Toronto or Hamilton.

I am doing the testing for Toronto in May...They should be hiring around then...

Is this an ongoing recruitment?Their website says they are NOT making any test times available.I was in a recruitment pool about 2-3 years ago but that must have expired.Any TFD brothers got any insight.

I was told that Toronto Fire is holding off their recruitment drive for 2005 because a number of firefighters that were anticipated to retire this year haven't but who knows until then

I called the Toronto info line tonight and it said they were not recruiting.

Thanks for the info about some of the departments.It will give me a chance to apply to a few dept's around here in Alberta and prepare for others that will recruit in the near future.

I was told by a chief Toronto will be hiring in the fall. He said 100 guys are leaving forsure this year or something.

Its all rumours but the source is pretty good.
