The court case between the Township of Russell and the family of a severely disabled girl over the construction of a fire station beside their house has been adjourned indefinitely after a judge urged the parties to settle out of court. Ontario Superior Court Justice Gerald Morin was scheduled to hear a motion from Sharron and Robert Campbell yesterday, asking him to order construction of the firehall stopped until after a trial on the issue is held. They say their daughter Sheena, 18, suffers life-threatening seizures, often prompted by loud noises.
