An overturned fuel truck carrying about 55,000 litres of gasoline caused a seven-kilometre traffic jam in the city's east end yesterday morning as firefighters ordered the closing of a portion of Highway 40. Operations chief Richard Liebmann, a spokesperson for the department, said firefighters received a call at 7:15 p.m. Sunday about a fuel truck that had flipped over on Marien Ave., a service road in Anjou, just underneath the Highway 40 overpass.
