"It was like in the movies," Dominic St-Jean said. "The men were walking around with flames on them for what seemed like two or three minutes. They were burning torches. It was awful to watch." The St. Henri resident was describing the horrific scene he witnessed yesterday when two roofers died in a spectacular tar fueled fire that may have been started by a propane explosion. It blanketed his neighbourhood in black, acrid smoke that was visible from as far away as LaSalle.
