Hi from the Falls

I thought I just drop everyone a line to say Hi and to tell everyone a little about myself. I from Niagara Falls, Ontario. I've been firefighting here for 6 months now on one of the volunteer halls (Station 6). Before that I was with Muskoka Lakes Fire Dept. Station #1 for a number of years a long time ago. I'm so glad to be back on. I'm also married and have 2 kids and expect another one in December. In full-time hours I'm a welder and really love that to. Anyways I will make this short just thought everyone should have a little background. I hope to get to know everyuone better in the near future. Yak at you later.

I didn't know you had volunteers in Niagra Falls. I was there last fall for a conference and met some of the guys

Well hello there Dave,
First of all...good luck to you, the mrs, and the new bambino on the way! Secondly, I am a journeyman autobody tech, Which I have been away from the trade for a few years now, and I miss the welding part of it a great deal, so I envy you on that one! Welcome to the firehall....have fun, learn lots!

Well thank you everyone for your welcoming, and FYI Niagara Falls has 3 Volunteer Fire Halls and 3 Full-Time Halls. I didn't know that either until I moved here and I visited here quite often before that. My wife was raised here and she didn't know about 2 of them just thought it was just Station #4 was volunteer.
