Anyone have any tips for mechanical reasoning? Website, good textbook, or anything? I'm trying to brush up....I found the Barron's book, but I'de like to see one before I buy. Anyway, anything is appreciated.

Thanks

The Barrons is good for reviewing things like mechanical advantage formulas and exertion factors. The tests are pretty challenging. The answers are explained with tips on correcting weaknesses.

As for which way does this pulley turn type questions, IMHO either you can figure it out based on provided illustrations or you cant. Those types of questions without any practical experience working with gears and pullies etc can be challenging.Dont sweat it and take your time. You can figure it out.
