Knee surgery

I fractured my knee and had to go for surgery , how would this effect me getting a career with City of Edmonton Fire and Rescue?

That should pose no problem as long as your good to go.

Depending on your recovery time and possible long term side affects of the surgery or injury it may or may not affect you.

A doctor must clear you and your knee, during the medical, inorder for you to progress in the application.

When/if the doctor does clear you for testing, you must be able to perform the CPAT, plus other physical testing properly.
