T.I.C. operations

Anyone that has used an TIC must have some reg's in place for use. Please share some, ie. who use's the TIC? how it's used for a search? Those types of things....

There's nothing set in stone (SOG's), and most crews come up with how they work with it on their own. With my guys, we give it to the hydrant man, (back up to the nozzle). The nozzleman leads into the fire with the hose and right behind him is the hydrantman with the TIC telling him what is ahead, where the rooms are, stairs etc.

Used one at a fire this morning. I dont know anything about regs regarding the use of, to be honest I've never even been officially shown how to turn one on. They work well though.
