I just wanted to say hi to everyone out there, I'm just begining to become more active on the site and I thought that it would be best to write something about me.
I currently live in Calgary and I want to get involved in the firefighting service after I've worked a few years as an EMT for the city.
I attended a firecamp for young women this past July down in the Seattle/Tacoma area and got to participate in multiple live burns, extrications, fire supression techniques, and the whole works for the most part. Needless to say I'm now super dedicated to becoming a fire fighter.
