I'm not sure if there is but if you were looking for some training go to the HRM Fire Dept's website and download their training guide it's pretty good. The closest thing I know if that in Musquash we have a fitness course based on the CPAT.

ok, i have a fitness guide and some homemade things.....like a little gizmo to simulate pulling a ceiling, sim of forced entry, stuff like that
hows your course set up? I might try to get out there sometime to use it.

Well, we usually start by moving just about everything out of the bay to set up there, and start with a rolled up hose, carry 50 ft, change and hands and come back, then from there walk 50 ft grab a ladder and carry 50 ft and stand it up, from there walk another 50 ft grab a charged hose line and drag 100 ft. Once that's done walk another 50 ft and climb a ladder 3X, then walk 100 ft (sort of cool-down) then grab a rope and drag two crates full of rolled hoses (simulates pulling up to a roof)50 ft, walk 50 ft to the other side and pull it back. Then walk to a table with a 200 lbs tire, with sand bags in it, on it, you must hit the tire with a sledge hammer from I believe 5 inches (simulates forcible entry) then go another 50 ft and grab a rescue dummy weighing roughly 155 lbs and drag him 50 ft and turn around and drag back. Walk another 50 ft and climb the ladder again this time only 2x, then grab the ladder you put up at the beginning and take it down and carry another 50 ft, walk back to start grab a bucket full of sand (simulates spreaders) and carry 50 ft and return to start to Finish the course. All this is done with full turnout gear and SCBA... and has to be completed under 10 mins your first time in order for us to stay as front line, eventually Chief wants us down to under 8 mins. It's pretty intense. But I love doing... if you're ever down let me know and I can go down we can set it up and run through it.... it's not something we keep set up. I know of a few other Fire Fighters that would go through it too... just for the practice
