Fire Department Grants

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any idea's for grants that our local department here could apply for so we can get some new equipment and apparatus and such. alot of our stuff here is pretty old. so if you could let me know that would be great

Have you ever thought of going to your Legion I think they have grants for Emergency People available I'm sure of these you have to check it out!

Mike is right. More specifically, it is through the Ladies Auxillary at the Provincial level. However, the local Branch has to be the lead on it. That is where you start.

Maybe try corprate donations any large companies in your responce area. Talk to your fire commisioners office they usally know what grants the goverment has to offer. Your village or town my also be able to go through your provinces municipal affiars office and find a grant. Good luck
