May not be word for word but you will get the idea.

if a brush clearing crew of 4 can clear 15 feet per hour from a rail line how much could one person clear in the same time.

Something like that. I guessed the answer and prolly pissed away 15 minutes trying to figger it out.

Its a good thing I get near perfect in all the other categories cause with math im lucky if I get 5 out of 20.I suck completely at math. I can apply it, I just cant cipher it downLOL

I have found that the Firefighter Prep Books helped with the math portion of the test. Barrons and Norman Hall were two that I have used. There are others that may have a stronger math component. They can be found in any Chapters bookstore.

I will see if I can send some examples for you.

Take care and good luck

Thats great advice.I used the Barrons and found it good.If I had to do it again I would prolly also buy a math only book.Ive seen the name in here cant remember it though. My wife tried to help me shes a math whiz, apparently I can only learn independantly on some stuffLOL.
