I was just wondering if any thought has been given to creating an alumni section for various fire academies?? JIBC, AFTS/Fire Etc, Texas forums?? While I'm on the topic is there anyone here from AFTS P8 2001 class???

I think in principle its a good idea, but you will prolly find the majority of the folks here dint attend fireschool.Hell I barely made it through primary school.

I agree that many didnt attend fire school. There are also alot that arent firefighters that still contribute to this forum. I think that an alumni section may be a good place for people to re-connect. Just an idea. I shouldn't have lost my address book.

Only reason I got to grade six is because I used to drive the teachers to school and provide them with smokes.

The way you guys run around the forums you would think that you are still in kindergarten.

Unfortunately we don't see that this would generate enough discussion to justify unique section. We'd also feel a little uncomfortable setting up sections for specific institutes without their endorsement, or at least their permission. However, feel free to start a post in the appropriate forum topic (eg. College) and be sure to include the academy name in the title of the post to grab the attention of anyone who may be interested. If we start to see some discussion we will certainly consider creating a more specific forum topic.
