Hi all!
I recently graduated from the fire cadet academy which I became a member of 2 years ago, just days before the attacks on New York and Washington. I still volunteer on a consistent basis with the fire department assisting at functions and special events such as open houses, boat check-stops etc. I have also recently graduated from high school and I am working part-time until I can begin a trade apprenticeship (electrician). I have set the goal of becomming a firefighter before I reach the age of 30 (which, I think is realistic). In the meantime I will try to get my electrician journeymans certification, get my EMR, EMT-A, class 2 drivers license etc, etc... I also plan to attend a firefighters college (not too sure where yet) and get my NFPA 1001 and 1002. That's about it for me!
