volunteer firefighter pensions

Does anyone out there have any information about pensions for volunteer firefighters? I can't seem to find much in Canada but I have found a little in the USA. Alberta apparently does not have anything going as of yet but I have heard that some of the other provinces do. Any help would be greatly appreciated
