HOPE, BC - The year end wrap-up for Hope Search and Rescue saw a decrease in call outs in 2005 but a sad spike in emergencies at year end.
The team assists all people and all organizations in need of the volunteer’s first aid and rescue training. The team membership stands at 30 volunteers, who contributed over 6000 volunteers hours over the last year to ganizational meetings, building upkeep and renovations, community events, fund raising and training. This year the team volunteers also took part in ground search and rescue training, as well as occupational first aid level one, transportation and auto extrication training.
