Hi
I was wondering what kind of Rescue saws all of you are using???
Primarily for cutting into roofs for Ventalation or where ever needed.
We are looking to buy a new one and need some choices.
Thanks

we use a husqavarna gas powerd cutoff saw. with special blades our dealer rep got for us. we just used it the other night to cut right through a garge door to gain access since the power door wouldnt work due to fire inside. worked pretty nice. we also use that tool for cutting in a roof for venting. we are plaesed with our saw.

We use the same as bcfire. 24 volt DeWalt. As long as someone rotates the battery's monthly it is a great unit. I'm pretty sure that you can get a AC attachment for it in case your battery's run low on juice.

we use a gas powered K 12 saw as well as a chain saw with a roof gaurd to prevent cutting to deep. an axe and a recip.saw are what we have in waiting the we can use if there is a problem with the first plan . remember a good plan is a backup plan and a bad plan is no plan !

We use an ECHO QUICKVENT with a 12" drop blade (angled down about 15* with a bullit chain, expensive but worth every penny. We also have a STIHL k12 saw with metal , concrete and a very agressive wood cutting blade.

K 2, Husky Chain saws, Recip, What ever works best (Starts) at the time. K2 is a finiky bugger. Look at it wrong and it won't start.

We use a Stihl rotary saw with the D'AX blade on it. It will cut just about anything.

We use the trusty old K12. Axes as stand by's or for smaller cuts...

Stihl TS400 gas-powered rotary saw with either a masonry or steel-cutting blade, depending on what you want to do... also the trusty ol' chainsaw.
