Kayleigh Harwood doesn't remember the propane explosion that sent her to hospital for weeks with brutal burns. But the 13-year-old can't forget how kids tease and taunt because of scars on her hands and face. That's why burn camp week remains the highlight of her summers. The Grade 8 student is surrounded by more than 60 burn survivors and 30 counsellors at the B.C. Professional Firefighters' Burn Camp 2003. The camp kicked off Sunday at Paradise Valley, just north of Squamish.
