has anyone heard about texasfiretraining.com ? Its a fire training school where the book work is done online then when youve completed the online portion you go in for practical training . If anyone knows anything about it please post something here . It seams like a good way to do it . what do you think ?

Hi there yes i have heard of this place . It is at trainingdivision.com if you want to check the website . it seems that it is upfront and it does have a section on the page to send them questions or inquires. It costs approx. 2000.00 american total and that includes the 2 week 'boot camp' style practical session.

One of the guys at our hall is doing the course right now actually. he will be going down for the boot camp this summer. It has worked out pretty good for him because they use the "fire fighting essentials fourth edition" which is what we are doing at the hall right now so he is kinda doing it all as we go. if you have any specific questions let me know and I will ask him anything you want to know
