Hey gang,
I was just curious if anybody could point me in the right direction here. I'm beginning to research schools that offer the EMT-A program in Alberta on a full-time basis. If anybody could recommend any schools or know of any that offer the EMT-A full-time I would really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks :)
Kris
I highly suggest you take it somewhere that is CMA accredited. That way, your cert is a EMT-A/Primary Care Paramedic certificate, and you can work in other provinces. I took mine at emergency services academy, in sherwood park, i highly recommend it, great instructors and excellent practicum sites, the website is esacanada.com Other CMA accredited schools in the edmonton area are nait, and PMA. As far as i know, the only CMA accredited schools in the calgary area are sait and PMA. If youre talking about the hat or lethbridge, i have no idea.

If you're down in the Calgary area, the Alberta Health and Safety training institute is great. I've taken numerous courses from there. The instructors really make an effort to help you out, and if you run into them a year or two down the road they'll still remember you.

The website has a list that has all the schools in Alberta on it.
