i need input from the fire fighting / fire safety experts on this :
in our local fire code, we specify that for buildings of height not more than 24m, one fire rated compartment must not contain more than 3 storeys.
i would appreciate if anyone can comment as to how this 3 storeys comes about because none of my colleagues seem to be able to establish the source of this regulation. our local fire code have similarities with british standard b2/3/4, however in this aspect, it does not specify such limitation. how about the canadian fire code ?
