Our department, Berwyn FD, is in northern Alberta.
We need to find a used industrial high speed washer for our gear.
There are so few of them in use up here, that we can't seem to find any used ones available to us.
To those in Calgary and Edmonton areas; if you hear of or find a used washer that we could come and pick up, Email me.
I'll buy a round for the crew.
cantact me at: fire@redskies.ca

Hey Bruce, we use Unimac washer/extractors, with great success, I will give you their website as well as the contact for the dealer we use in Mississauga, Ontario, perhaps they can put you onto a refurbished unit or the manufacturer could put you on to the local dealers out there.

Hi there,
I was just checking out www.bargainfinder.com (http://www.bargainfinder.com/) and ran across a couple in there that were heavy duty, don't know if it will work for you or not....but worth looking into. just search for washers :D hopefully that will help you out.
Trish

The bargin finder had a listing for a laundy going out of business.

No Problem, the ones we use are the UC or economy models they work great, they extract so well the gear is usually dry overnight.
