I was told about this book, and it is supposed to be far better than the Essentials series.
Has anybody seen or read it?

I used both the essentials and fundamentals text for my courses. Found the fundamentals more modern and easier to follow. Also had all the Haz-mat info contained within. It is put out by NFPA so it seems to me that it is up to snuff.

Thanks for the reply! I ordered it hoping it would be easier than going thru all my notes.

I used both as well. I found the pictures (ie. ropes) alot easier to follow. If you look into both you will find the Fundamentals will have a little less info in some of the chapters then essentials. But I liked the Fundamentals alot more.

We use both Essentials of Fire Fighting IV, and Fundamentals of Fire Fighter Skills. My vote would go to Fundamentals as a better resource reference. Well worth the money spent if you are building a personal reference library as well. ;)
Stay safe !!
