Just got the call about an hour ago. They want us back in Port Alberni for Thursday.

It's going to be fun getting there from Calgary, especially when I have to work my last shift at the hospital tomorrow.

Apparently the Prince George area is experiencing increased fire activity and once we get fire ready that's where we're headed.

Check the Protection Branch's website today 38 new fires yesterday about half due to lightning. One fire is already up to 1000 ha's.

haha.. i think we were sent to that... 3 guys in an A star.. at that time(yesterday afternoon sometime) we IFR'ed it at about 300Ha... and rank 5..tankers were actioning it.. we decided maybe not a good target for us..
