MILLTOWN, NL - The committee staged a mock accident caused by impaired driving at the Milltown/Hd Bay d' Espoir turn off, complete with an overturned car and a person acting as if she had been killed in the accident. This replaced past effors, where committe members would set up a roadblcock at the turn-off to hand out packages with information about safe-boating and camping and drug awareness for young people.
