A fun and challenging multi-sport race! Teams of three from various Emergency Service Branches compete against each other to win the title of ESAR champion. The race course is; 40-50km long, 5-8 hours in duration on an unmarked course that requires teams to find various checkpoints using map and compass. The teams must travel together and utilize team work in order to reach the finish line as quickly as possible. The race disciplines include: trekking, mountain biking, canoeing, navigation. Often there is a ropes element or special event to complete during the race. All teams are unsupported and must carry water and food during the race. You can’t beat the fun! We guarantee once you try it – you’ll be hooked!
