Looking for Public Education Plans

I am in the preservice fire course and I have a Public Ed project. I have been given a scenario about smokers leaving thier butts lit and fallin asleep. Potential victims include themselves and their children. I am required to make an awareness plan for the prevention of this. Does anybody have any info on progems that have worked, or any pertinent information would be greatly appreciated.

While I don't have a specific education plan suggestion, perhaps in your summary a suggestion of a visit to a local burn unit would be a good element of an education plan ?

The video "Fire Power" shows a very dramatic result of what happens when a cirgarette butt is thrown into a garbage can. It may not be the same thing you are looking for but the result can be the same. Maybe you could borrow it from someone.
