As fires continue to rage throughout the B.C. Interior, the rest of the province is banding together to assist firefighters, volunteers and evacuated families in any way possible. In 100 Mile House, residents are opening their homes and inundating the local evacuation reception centre with offers of help. "We have seen such a huge outpouring of caring and compassion offered to complete strangers and local merchants," said Gary Bryant, a Delta resident who travelled to the Interior to help family members who live in Barriere.
