That's an awesome video. Thanks for sharing! Also, I was just wondering if you only run your sirens at intersection? Also, I can't believe how crazy the streets are.... u head one way, come to a corner & voila, heading the oposite direction again! LOL

Why ?! When you hear it live, you`ll like it. It sounds better then in the video.

yeah well ive never heard one of them live, just in videos from accross the pond and i dont like the sound of them. I like the sound of the Q sirens the most and then the yelp ones that are used over here.

That looks like a very nice city. Seems to me that the fire apparatus are a little smaller then they would be here in Canada. Id like to see the faces of people if you were to drive down those streets in one of our rigs. :D

Yeah there is nothing like hearing "Dieter Dieter" at 3 o'clock in the morning...I am sometimes glad our family moved back to Canada; At least now my ears don't bleed when I hear sirens going off...

Cool video though, btw.

errr... this woulda been your chance to thank him for taking the time to make the vid and post it and all that... not make disparaging comments on how european sirens sound? :(

very cool video, the siren is a european style, can't help that..... its a very impressive video, regardless....
i was surprised to see you could make a right on a red light.....

Er...um...I hope you don't put me in the same boat...I was born over there, lived there again for 4 yrs and am actually a citizen of....I just meant by what I said is that they are indeed loud and sometimes annoying.........

The video was well done and gives you insight into the reponse of a German fire dept...

As for the siren...Don't knock it till ya hear it...live...

the big difference was that you thanked him for his efforts for the video and such... hey, i'm not a huge fan of european sirens myself (and yes i have heard them live, in germany in fact), but i appreciate them in their own right. i like ours better, but european ones are cool, too. :p (and yes... they can be very annoying! ... but i could say the same about north american ones, too)
