BBQ Season!!!

With the weather getting hotter we are firing up the BBQ for meals quite a bit....Anyone with some good BBQ Feed's??

BBQ'D asparagus:

Skewer asparagus(usually about 12/skewer)

Make marinade:
Soy sauce, olive oil, sesame oil(for taste), sesame seeds, garlic, pepper.

Soak skewered asparagus in marinade while you prepare the rest of the meal. Grill on the BBQ for about 10 minutes.

Goes really well with any fish.

Speaking of steak, it would probably be a good idea to mention that the guys and gals at firehalls can band together to buy a few sides of beef from local farmers to help them out.

I bought a side of beef from a Beachburg farmer last fall and I can tell you I've *never* had better steak than what's in my freezer right now - The grocery store stuff just doesn't compare :)
