Province Wide Quals

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if paramedics all practise the same procedures in each province. I know they all have there own qualifications (im going for my AEMCA in Ontario right now, which EMT in alberta etc).

But can all provinces administer the same drugs, call in for TORS, and do things such as IVs or does that change province to province. I know in Ontario its regulated under the Base Hospitals so i wasn't sure if other provinces did this.

I was just wondering this to see if i would get to practise the same skill set if i were to move out of province.

With the government taking over ems in Alberta most of the protocols are now the same province wide. But each province has its rules on what your allowed to do for every level. Not sure how each province stakes up against each other though
