Default CFB Esquimalt - Civilian Fire Fighter positions

Written test is this week (Wednesday).

Department is apparently 15 plus positions short and currently filling with OT to maintain minimum manning.

Regardless of what might appear as a slow hiring process, this department is excellent to work for and very progressive with a bottomless pit of training dollars it would appear.

CFB Esquimalt is also a mutual aid partner to the municipal fire department outside the Base and goes to pretty much every confirmed structure fire in that area.

Would you happen to know what the steps are for recruitment?
After the written is it an interview or another aptitude test or a skills test.
I checked a couple of posts and the recruitment stages are different from each other.

Thanks

Cheers

10 so far since the fall. Not sure when the next group will come on. Sounds like lots of retirements in the next 2-3 years though.

Any new word on when they'll be looking for new applicants? I'm a military firefighter currently posted in Edmonton, but would love to work in Esquimalt.
