Fire Hall fundraiser
To the marketing department,
Hanley Volunteer Fire Dept has been protecting its citizens for many years. In its early years it was only fire protection that was delivered by the volunteers. Today it is much more, fire protection, free medical response, and rescue are all parts of the fire dept today. The current fire hall is undersized which can be hazardous during responses and no adequate training area. The time has come for the town to build a new fire hall that contains adequate space for today’s equipment making response safer and faster for the responders and citizens receiving the service.
The fire dept has created a goal of $150,000 to construct a new fire hall which will be built with volunteers from within the community. We have many events planned including golf tournaments, steak suppers, as well as starting our 50/50 lottery to raise funds for the project. In association with these events we are looking for items to auction off to move closer to our goal. Ideally in $40-$500 range. With your help of merchandise, or cash donations we will make this goal a reality. Donations over $1000 will receive a signage in front of the fire hall. Our first event starts June 22nd in association with the fair in town. In the next 6 months we look forward to making a majority of our goal.
Thank you in advance for your support.
