On May 3, 2015 the Calgary Firefighters Benevolent Fund will be hosting the first Firefighter Stair Climb at the Bow. The largest building in Western Canada, 800 vertical feet and curtain wall windows all the way up! It is all for bragging rights and to raise funds for Wellspring, a Calgary charity that supports people fighting cancer. The director of Wellspring is the niece of our late Fire Chief Wayne Morris who lost his battle with cancer just a couple of years ago. 500 firefighters from all over North America will get a chance to compete in the highest elevation stair climb in the world. Please register at www.calgarystairclimb.com
, you can fundraise your entrance fee or pay and reserve your spot. I hope to see you there and please contact me on Facebook at Calgary Firefighter Stairclimb or firstname.lastname@example.org
