Aerial1, I checked the dates, the deck gun pic was July 05, I also mistakenly said the new Spartan/Smeal truck was an 08, it was delivered in February 07 so the truck at Modern went out of active duty in Spring of 07. Here is a pic of the period when the trucks were switched over, the 93 on the right the 06/07 on the left. If you are interested, one of the Modern trucks sister trucks was refurbished and went to Brooklyn Nova Scotia where "Nagrom" is a member of the department(see pic)

You could try going to a trucking company, explain your situation and ask for a copy of their circle check sheet

Would you be willing to send me those copies as well? I'd greatly appreciate it! I've sent you a PM.

Cheers.

Default Pump Ops / Auto X / DZ Licence

I just completed a pump ops and auto x program
at modern training in Hamilton both programs were
well taught and the instructors showed eagerness
to help all students in the class. I did recieve a school
certificate for both programs which is a great plus for
padding the resume. I did complete a DZ program at
this school a while back and returned due to the quality
of training given during the DZ course. All programs were
held on weekends and based around my schedule. The
tuition costs were also not outrageous. I would highly
recommend this school and all the fire programs offered.

Cheers !

Default Toronto Truck Driving School

Does anyone have experience with the Toronto Truck Driving School? I called them and they quoted $650 for both the Z brake course and a D driving course with in-class instructions and 8 in-vehicle sessions. I just don't know if they're reliable.

If you do the math the cost of the test, rental of truck etc. and you blow it and have to do it all over again. The cost to me made it worthwile.
If you dont mind, could you tell me the address for this place, i am looking forward to get my DZ license. i was told its very expensive to get. over 2k, you can email me at virgos2009@live.com.

Thanks

Lightbulb Where do you live?

Depending on where you live, you may want to check out where I went to get my DZ licence. His name is Chris and the company is Safelane Fire Truck Driver Training. Their website is www.safelane.ca
He is located in Lindsay, Ontario.
Hope this helps,
Nicole

Default DZ licence

Would it be beneficial to acquire a AZ or BZ over the DZ license that most departments are looking for? I can get the BZ for the same cost as the DZ. The BZ also covers the DZ and other classes as well.

Let me know,

Thanks
