Default Training for shuttle run

Hey guys!

I applied for BCWS for the 2017 season, no email back yet... however, I decided to test myself in advance for the beep test and got a 7.5. Is this considered good for a future female firefighter? I was wondering if the BCWS treats all the applicants equally when it comes to the fitness test. In other words, what should I aim to score...although I know I don't have much time to improve my score.

And if you have any tips on how to improve my score, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Not sure if this is too late or not, but if you can find a steep hill, perform hill sprints on it 2-3 times per week. It will turn you into a machine, without a doubt.
