Default In memory of....

I am a fire fighter in a small firehall in Saskatchewan. I have been one for less then 1 year, but I am one none the less. When news of this tragidy came out, I realized, once again, that at anytime it could be any one of us and the risks that we "fire fighter" take everyday to make our cities safer. These men gave everything, and my heart goes out to thier families and the men and women they worked with. I would like to, on behalf of my firehall, express our condolences to the families that were so deeply effected by the loss. My thoughts and prayers go to the fire fighter that is still in the hospital fighting...

Default Attendance

HI

thanks for the heads up, After the meeting tonight I should have a better idea as to who and when, at the moment there are two of us and hopefully we will be in one of the utility vehicles. Arrival depends on the schedule for the service we will not be staying overnight so we will leave Weyburn Early and get home very late - committments will not allow for an overnight stay
it would be great if we could have a place to change clothes and that way we could drive in casual clothes and change upon arrival

Thanks for all you help and support - I know this is a hard time for the WFPS

Our thoughts are with you
Robby

Default Attendance

Weyburn is planning on arriving wednesday morning at 5:30 to assemble and get ready.
I hope to meet as many of you as are attending
It is times like this that we as firefighters assemble and show the spirit that binds us. We can pay respects to those who gave the greatest gift they can to the people they serve and to lend our collective spirit to support and console those left behind. With our presence we can help to ease the burden of the WFPS and carry their saddened hearts with our emotional strength and make the day a little less stressful and maybe help in the healing process.

It was with shock and disbelief that I heard the news of the tragic events in Winnipeg.

Godspeed, my brothers. May the knowledge that others share your loss and grief help the family, friends and the brothers and sisters of WFPS through this terrible time.

May those injured in this horrific event heal rapidly and recover fully from their injuries.

Be strong in this time of trial, WFPS, you are not alone in your grief and rage. We share it with you.
