Snippet:

LANGLEY, BC - A Langley Township firefighter was the victim of a hit and run accident while he was clearing up a previous crash on the Trans Canada Highway Tuesday.

“We had a firefighter struck by a car while he was putting out cones at a motor vehicle accident on the highway last night,” said assistant chief Bruce Ferguson.

Firefighters from the Willoughby hall had rolled out after a driver crashed into the ditch near 232nd Street in the eastbound lanes at about 9:30 p.m. The driver survived the crash.
