Province pushed to buy more fire trucks

GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, NL - Newfoundland and Labrador fire departments are pushing the provincial government to buy new equipment.

The province paid for 22 new fire trucks last year, but the Association for Fire Services says more are needed.

Association president Vince Mackenzie said 70 communities have requests in for new trucks.
