Posted by web-chief on Mar 28, 2012 @ 8:07AM

Snippet:

KAMLOOPS, BC - A suspicious grass fire in Barnhartvale threatened homes Tuesday afternoon, but danger was averted as Kamloops Fire Rescue worked to douse the flames.

Just after 1 p.m., firefighters were called to the 1100 block of Lamar Avenue after a homeowner noticed flames in grass near his residence.

It took less than two hours for firefighters to extinguish the flames, saving nearby property from any damage.
