Quick action by Mounties helps save two people from fire

[ Back ]

Posted by web-chief on Apr 24, 2012 @ 1:52PM

Snippet:

CRANBROOK, BC - The quick action of the Mounties helped save the lives to two people when a fire broke out in a building in Cranbrook, B.C., Monday night.

The RCMP say an officer was on a routine patrol in downtown Cranbrook when he spotted smoke pouring out of the building.

Other officers called to the scene were driven back by the flames but they made enough noise to wake up two people inside who fled to the roof of an adjacent building where they were rescued by fire crews.
