Grand Falls-Windsor home gutted by fire

GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, NL - Fire gutted a house in Grand Falls-Windsor overnight.

Firefighters were called to the burning home on Kelly Place, in the Grenfell Estates subdivision, just before 3:30 a.m.

The second floor and roof were engulfed in flames when they arrived, according to Grand Falls-Windsor Fire Chief Vince McKenzie.

He said by that time, two families living in the home were already safely outside.
