Barn fire narrowly misses home

[ Back ]

Posted by MrFirefighter on Feb 28, 2012 @ 7:05AM

Snippet:

TIGNISH SHORE, PE - Firefighters in western P.E.I. had their work cut out for them Sunday morning preventing a barn fire from spreading to the adjacent house.

Flames were roaring out of the barn toward the Tignish Shore home, but fortunately the wind direction was working in the firefighters' favour.

High winds did fan the flames however, and the barn was a total loss.
