Three more fires linked to suspected Shaugnessy arsons

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver police have linked three more fires to a series of suspected arsons in the pricey Shaughnessy neighbourhood.
The latest batch brings the total number of suspicious fires reported in the area since the beginning of June to 11. Each was set in the early morning hours between midnight and 10 a.m., and several have damaged homes, fences, garages and vehicles.
The latest blaze broke out at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100-block of West 15th Avenue, where a folded up tarp beside a house was set on fire.
